2. Scope of the Terms of Service

These Terms govern the access to and use of services provided by WiseHost, including but not limited to website hosting, domain registration, email hosting, cloud services, technical support, and other digital services.

By subscribing to or using any of our services, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

3. Conditions of Use

WiseHost services are intended for lawful use and must comply with applicable national and European legislation.

The user agrees not to use the services for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, such as sending spam, phishing, distributing malware, or infringing copyrights.

WiseHost reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in the event of a breach of these Terms, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

4. WiseHost’s Obligations

WiseHost commits to:

  • Provide the contracted services with diligence and professionalism;

  • Ensure service availability 24/7 whenever technically possible;

  • Respond to support requests within a reasonable time frame;

  • Fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable national legislation.

5. User Responsibilities

The user is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of the information provided;

  • Keeping login credentials confidential;

  • Making timely payments as agreed;

  • Creating backups of their content, unless a backup service has been contracted.

6. Payments and Cancellations

Services are subject to upfront payment, as specified in the contractual terms of each service.

In the event of non-payment, WiseHost may suspend or cancel the service.

The user may request cancellation at any time, but no prorated refunds will be issued unless otherwise specified in the contract.

7. Privacy Policy

WiseHost collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR and Law No. 58/2019, which implements the GDPR in Portugal.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and technologies used by WiseHost are the property of the company or third-party licensors. Users do not acquire any intellectual property rights by using the services.

9. Changes to the Terms

WiseHost may update these Terms of Service at any time. The updated version will be published on this website with the corresponding update date. Continued use of the services after any changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the Court of the District of Setúbal shall have exclusive jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
